The forecast for today (Saturday) looks bleak. We have a built-in rain date for our block party/street closure permit on Sunday. The weather tomorrow looks better, but certainly no guarantees. Some have suggested holding off any activities for this weekend and trying for a sidewalk-only event next weekend, including stoop sales and an ice cream party. We need to get a handle on what folks would like to do. Please cast your vote in a comment below.

DEAR ALL,
WHILE WE HAVE BEEN WATCHING THE SKIES SINCE 5 AM AND HAVE NOT SEEN THE RAIN RESTART YET, THE FORECAST IS STILL FOR A VERY WET DAY. WE HAVE DECIDED TO POSTPONE THE PARTY UNTIL NEXT SATURDAY SO PLEASE JOIN US FOR THE STOOP SALE, ICE CREAM AND POT LUCK DINNER THEN!!!
WE WIL NOT BE ABLE TO CLOSE THE STREET TO TRAFFIC ON 10/04/08 BUT WE CAN STILL HAVE TONS OF SIDEWALK FUN TOGETHER!
