This is the debut of the new Carroll Street/PPW Block Association blog. We hope it can be used to keep everybody posted on upcoming events, like this Saturday's block party.
Remember, there's no parking on Carroll Street between 8th Ave. and the park that day, and the street will be closed to traffic from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m.
The day starts with a block-wide stoop sale from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Kids' activities will run from 1-5 p.m. with an ice cream party at 3 p.m. The potluck dinner will begin at 6 p.m.
Please take a moment to list the dish you intend to share -- or even a hint of it (salad, fruit, pasta, etc.) and hopefully we can fill in any gaps and avoid duplications. Just click on the "comments" link below to indicate what you plan to bring.

Elisabeth Martin will bring a pasta salad and still other yet to be determined contributions!
This pot luck dinner tradition has always been a ton of fun as we all gather informally on the street to eat, chat, play music, and enjoy each other's company. All contributions are welcome as we need food and beverages(typically to serve approx. 10), music, chairs, folding tables, even a grill or two. Please save the date and join in on the fun!
We'll BBQ sausages and potatoes. Do we already have forks, knives, and spoons? If not, we'll get them.

If we have bad weather on Saturday, the raindate is Sunday Sept 28. So let's get the word out to everybody about the raindate.
